Sarah Genet Negussie Dubale, Esq.
Sarah Genet Negussie Dubale, Esq. is the managing member of Dubale Law, LLC. She is the daughter of Ethiopian immigrants who were granted asylum to start a life in the United States. As the first U.S. citizen in her family and the wife of a Caribbean immigrant, Sarah has personally witnessed the life and struggles of immigrants in the United States. Her life experiences provide perspective and empathy to her practice.
Sarah was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 2014 and has practiced immigration law for over seven years. During her practice, she gained considerable experience in various family-based immigration filings, green card renewals, U Visas, waivers, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), employment-based immigration filings, and naturalizations.
Sarah graduated cum laude from the University of West Georgia with a B.B.A. in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. Prior to attending law school, she was a legal assistant for a personal injury and medical malpractice firm in North Carolina. In 2014, Sarah earned her Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University School of Law in Macon, Georgia. During law school, Sarah was a Cite-Checking Editor for the Black Law Student Association Law Journal and School Representative for the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy. In 2014, she received Mercer's Advance Legal Writing Certificate.
After law school, Sarah worked for a private immigration firm in Atlanta, Georgia and volunteered as an attorney with the Latin American Association (LAA). In 2014, she proudly received the "Outstanding Volunteer Award" from the Immigration Services Department of the LAA. In 2017, Sarah opened Dubale Law, LLC, which focuses on providing clients with personable legal services.
When she is not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, giving back to her community, and enjoying the outdoors.
